What This Site Is
Blueprint Prepared covers emergency preparedness, survival gear, first aid supplies, and self-reliance topics. Our team researches and writes about these subjects as informed general editors — not as licensed physicians, certified emergency managers, paramedics, or wilderness medicine professionals.
Everything on this site is general information. None of it is medical advice, and none of it should substitute for professional medical evaluation or treatment.
First Aid and Survival Medicine Content
We cover first aid kits, trauma supplies, and survival medicine concepts because they’re core to real preparedness. That content reflects general research and publicly available guidance. It’s not a substitute for hands-on training from a certified instructor.
If you’re serious about preparedness, get trained. The American Red Cross, NOLS Wilderness Medicine, and Stop the Bleed all offer courses worth taking. Reading about a tourniquet and knowing how to use one under pressure are very different things.
Supplements and Wellness Products
Where we cover supplements, vitamins, or nutrition products in a preparedness context, this applies:
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Products referenced on this site are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Results vary. Talk to a licensed healthcare provider before starting any supplement regimen, especially if you have existing health conditions or take prescription medications.
Compounded and Prescription Medications
Where we cover compounded medications or telehealth platforms that dispense prescriptions:
Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved finished drug products. They’re made by licensed 503A compounding pharmacies under a valid physician prescription and don’t go through the same pre-market safety and efficacy review as commercially manufactured FDA-approved drugs. That distinction matters legally and clinically. Verify compounding pharmacy licensing with your state pharmacy board before ordering.
Nothing on this site should be read as a recommendation to obtain, use, or stop any prescription medication. Prescriptions require a licensed prescriber. Blueprint Prepared is not affiliated with any telehealth platform, prescribing entity, or dispensing pharmacy we may reference.
Preparedness Content Is Not Emergency Response
Our guides help you plan and prepare. They are not a substitute for professional emergency response, FEMA certifications, or real-time guidance from local emergency management authorities. In an active emergency, follow instructions from emergency services — not from a website.
No Patient Relationship
Reading this site creates no patient-provider relationship, no advisory relationship, and no professional obligation of any kind on our part.
